JORDAN RAINER
WITH SPECIAL GUEST ROBINELLA
WITH SPECIAL GUEST ROBINELLA
Friday February 9, 8pm at THE OPEN CHORD, 8426 Kingston Pike - Knoxville, TN
Fire spittin’ country artist and quadruple threat Jordan Rainer picks TEAM REBA on this season of The Voice. Dubbed by her fans as the woman in black, Jordan Rainer’s blind audition performance of Reba
McEntire’s hit Fancy knocked the socks off the coaches with her authentic and true sound, thus receiving a four-chair turn which landed her a spot, on TEAM REBA.
Born in Atoka, Oklahoma and raised in Whitewright, TX, touring singer-songwriter and recording artist
Jordan Rainer is catching fire with audiences of all ages, backgrounds and musical tastes. She is making a
name for herself among some of the biggest names in country music while performing predominantly in
Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and all across the southeast.
With her witty lyrics, masterful guitar playing and unique voice, Rainer has been embraced as a peer by
respected artists and songwriters such as Dean Dillon (George Strait-- The Chair, Marina Del Rey), and even wrote the title track Stained Glass and Neon with Dean for The Voice winner Sundance Head’s debut album.
Notorious for shooting from the hip and telling it like it is, Jordan Rainer’s spitfire approach to performance
and storytelling is one that sets her apart for sure. Dubbed by her fans as “The Woman In Black”, her stories
and style give a subtle nod to her deep love for artists like Cash, Jennings, Willie.
Any artist that plays rowdy bar gigs knows it will not be their most captive audience. Jordan, however, pulls
her audiences in and has a knack for turning loud bars into a private showcase. Much like her music,
Jordan’s performance is an artform of its own. Rainer wins crowds over with the energy and spunk she
exudes while playing. She turns strangers into fans, and fans into an extension of her family, building an
intimately connected and established base that will show up wherever she plays.
In addition to her own performing and songwriting, Rainer is an accomplished producer and is currently
producing records on rising country acts such as Texas artist Shayne Porter, Nashville artist Cameron Lenz,
and Louisiana-born artist Will Dinnat.
